MBA student becomes Yale Shafer Scholar

Reaiah Rutherford has just been selected as a Shafer Scholar at Yale University. This means that our Reaiah will be attending Yale University summer session B for 5 weeks with the Yale University students. Only 8 juniors from all of New Haven Public Schools are selected a year for this amazing opportunity. The program would normally cost about $10,000.00 as it covers 2 Yale courses, dorm and dining hall expenses, book allowance and pocket money. Please congratulate Reaiah when you see her!

FIRST EVER Red Cross blood drive!

Our Metro HOSA Future Health Professionals thanks you for your support of our FIRST EVER Red Cross blood drive! We collected 27 pints of blood! We deeply appreciate staff members' support by donating, allowing students to donate, and allowing our HOSA Future Health Professionals to run the blood drive. Special thanks to Coach LeFort for moving his classes outside so we could use the gym. Red Cross was very complimentary of our students! They are looking forward to coming back next year. We are hoping to run fall and spring drives next year.
