Metropolitan is an interdistrict magnet high school in New Haven that offers students four academic paths of study - Allied Health and Science, Digital Arts and Technology, Law and Political Science, and Finance.  These pathways are supported by the 21st Century Competencies.  Metropolitan is committed to offering students opportunities to apply its core values of Innovation, Integrity and Involvement through project-based learning using state of the art technology, student leadership positions, internships, and community service.

Update Feb. 23, 2017: Governor Malloy signs Executive Order No. 56 to affirm state protections for transgender students in Connecticut schools and to provide guidance to superintendents outlining state's anti-discrimination laws.
