Welcome to Metropolitan!

Metropolitan is a full college preparatory program that offers students four academic paths of study.  These pathways are supported by the 21st Century Competencies.  Metropolitan is committed to offering students opportunities to apply its core values of Innovation, Integrity and Involvement through project-based learning using state of the art technology, student leadership positions, internships, and community service.

What's happening at Metro

Yale-New Haven Hospital Internship 2020 - Students 16 years and older can apply for a YNHH internship through Mr. Hekeler. See Mr. Hekeler ASAP. All documents are due February 5th.

Youth@Work: Students are able to pick up applications at the main office of 165 Church Street which are available now.  The deadline for student applications is March 27, 2020 5:00 p.m.

SENIOR YEARBOOK SURVEY - The Yearbook Committee would like to invite seniors to submit a quote and fill out the senior survey by February 24, 2020. By clicking this link, you will also be able to provide biographical information and contribute to some polls we have created. Also, seniors can send 2 pictures to mbayearbook2020@gmail.com (This is like a 'then and now' type section. The 'then' can be a baby picture and the 'now' would be more recent). Also send pictures from clubs, programs, sports, candids, selfies, as well as pictures of seniors and teachers at school or on field trips. If seniors have hardcopies that need to be scanned, bring them to Dr. Chicoski.

We look forward to seeing you during advisory on Thursday, February 27 for the Class of 2020 picture and the start of superlatives!

SENIORS - You must put your community service hours into Servo.city in order to finalize your eligibility for New Haven Promise. Please see guidance if you do not know how to do this. You can only enter 8 hours at a time, so if you did 40 hours, you must enter it 5 times.
